About TWIF
TMU’s Women in Finance (TWIF) was founded with the mission of empowering female students by providing them with the essential skills and resources needed to thrive in the financial industry.
TWIF stands as a unique group committed to enhancing the representation of women in finance roles. We aim to benefit the TMU female community through engaging workshops, valuable resources, and impactful networking events.
Our three main purposes are:
1. We aim to create a safe space for women, bridging the gender gap and sparking meaningful conversations
2. We strive to provide the TMU community with hands-on learning at every meeting
3. Our commitment is to assist members through engaging workshops on valuation, personal trading, and investing, as well as organizing networking events with finance professionals
